Issue

Using an Evaluation License imposes certain restrictions on Imaging Toolkit operation.

Restrictions

The following restrictions are enforced when using an evaluation license. Installing a full license will remove these restrictions.

  1. Machine import

    • Only 4 machines may be imported into the File Library

      NOTE: Installing an evaluation license over a full license will remove all but 4 machines from the library.

  2. Driver Query

    • Only 5 driver searches may be performed

  3. Build Process

    • Popup messages are displayed during the build process to warn that an evaluation license is in use
    • Keyboard and Mouse lockdown is disabled
    • Evaluation wallpaper is displayed
    • The status window cannot be disabled
    • The status window title cannot be changed
    • The reboot cancel button cannot be disabled
    • Sound is not disabled during the build
    • The reboot delay is set to 5 seconds

  4. Imaging menu

    • A popup dialog is displayed which randomly prompts to continue or exit
    • An evaluation background is displayed
    • Background colour cannot be set
    • Header text and colour cannot be set
    • Footer text and colour cannot be set
