Overview

• After successfully restoring images on to a UEFI PC, Windows halts with an error 0xc000000d error on file \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD
  
• Windows 8.x images restore successfully on to the same hardware

Solution

• Enable the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) in the EFI configuration options.
  
  

  NOTE: Secure Boot must be disabled for UEFI imaging to be succesful. Setting CSM (Compatibility Support Module) to enabled is only required for Windows 7. For more information on UEFI support within Windows check out http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/hh824898.aspx
